Michael is the Clinical Director of Rehabilitation in our Oakhurst, NJ office. He joined the JAG Physical Therapy family in July 2020. For 20+ years prior to joining JAG PT he was the owner of several physical therapy offices in the Monmouth county area. Michael is a graduate from Hahnemann University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Michael is certified in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy. This post-graduate training focuses on assessment, classification, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. He is also certified in functional dry needling. He has been caring for patients in the field of orthopedics and sports related injuries since 1998. Michael has completed a one-year internship with the New York Giants football team and is a clinical instructor for students from Rutgers and Sacred Heart University. He works closely with local high schools and universities, post-surgical care, multiple spinal conditions, arthritis, geriatrics, ergonomic evaluations and gait abnormalities. Michael has been a Monmouth County resident for over 30 years. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and was a collegiate wrestler at George Mason University. He currently enjoys golf, cycling, surfing, mixed martial arts and spending time with his family.
