Local Community Leaders and Rutgers University Representatives Attend Celebration of Company’s Remarkable Expansion Throughout the Tri-State Area

Bridgewater, N.J. (October 3, 2024) – JAG Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 150 locations across the Northeast, recently held a ribbon cutting event to celebrate their 150th facility, located at 77 Church Street, New Brunswick, NJ 18901.

To celebrate JAG Physical Therapy’s 150th location milestone, the New Brunswick facility was inaugurated with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. This achievement in business growth and patient reach reflects the company’s ongoing expansion and continued commitment to providing personalized care throughout the Tri-State Area. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by local partners in support of the milestone, including James Cahill, Mayor of New Brunswick, and representatives from Rutgers University.

“It is a great pleasure to have JAG Physical Therapy here,” said New Brunswick Mayor, James Cahill. “New Brunswick is well known for its health care, so the addition of JAG Physical Therapy, and your commitment to the quality of life of your patients and getting them back to their goals, aligns perfectly with the city’s dedication to promoting good health care in the city of New Brunswick. On behalf of all the residents here, a warm welcome to all of you and congratulations on 150 establishments.”

“Twenty-one years ago, I started the company in a small 1,800 square foot facility in West Orange, New Jersey,” said John Gallucci Jr., President & CEO of JAG Physical Therapy. “I told my wife that one day, we were going to be the largest provider of outpatient physical therapy services in New Jersey and New York, and here we are opening up our 150th location.”

“I am really honored to be a part of opening JAG in New Brunswick,” said Maggie Webster, PT, DPT CSCS, Clinical Director. “Rutgers brought me and my husband to New Brunswick five years ago. This community is really our home, and I am so excited to support Rutgers and the partnership with the students, the staff and be a resource to the people of New Brunswick.”

“New Brunswick is the hub city of health care, and you can see how vibrant this township is. Our goal is to give to this community and intertwine ourselves with the culture here,” said Al Raccuia, PT, DPT, Regional Clinical Director. “New Brunswick is in great hands with the professional care of Maggie, and we are excited to be here.”

Former JAG Physical Therapy patient, actress Thérèse Plummer, also shared her personal recovery story with the crowd at the event. Members of her JAG Physical Therapy care team were present to hear her moving words about how they helped her regain her mobility and hope after surviving a car accident.

“I have been coming to JAG for three years after a life-altering car accident that flipped my world upside down. I have undergone 15 surgeries so far, and JAG has been there for me through my entire recovery,” said Thérèse Plummer, former JAG Physical Therapy patient. “On my first day at JAG, I rolled in on a wheelchair and was finally able to walk out of there on my own after three years. During those three years, JAG became my family. There were times when I was given disappointing news from doctors, and the mentality and care of the staff helped me reach the goals that others told me were unreachable. This company and the people are near and dear to my heart, and I am forever grateful for JAG for saving my life.”

With a team of dedicated physical therapists, this New Brunswick location will continue JAG Physical Therapy’s nearly 20 year legacy of supporting patients in returning to the life they love through comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
